Pinalli, the leading Italian distribution platform for beauty and body care products, was founded in 1984 in Fiorenzuola d’Arda (Piacenza), when Luigi Pinalli and his wife Liliana Segalini decided to open their first perfumery: a welcoming place where customers are guided in choosing the products best suited to their needs. In 1992, the family expanded the business and opened a new store in Piacenza. Over the years, the company has grown steadily, with new openings in Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy (1998), Liguria and Piedmont (2006), and progressively in other strategic areas of Northern and Central Italy, eventually reaching the current 75 beauty stores in eight Italian regions (Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Piedmont, Liguria, Tuscany, Trentino-Alto Adige, Marche). Omnichannel is one of its distinctive features, thanks to the synergy between digital and physical that allows for a unique shopping experience. The over 200 digital touch points in the stores allow customers to browse the E-shop even from within the store and to easily complete purchases even if the product is not available at the point of sale. Pinalli was also one of the first companies in the sector to focus on the e-commerce channel as early as 2012: today, the online sales platform – recently renovated – is among the top on the market.
