About Pimp My Carroça and Cataki For over a decade, Pimp My Carroça has been a social, cultural, and environmental movement aiming to give visibility to recyclable material collectors through art, technology, and collective mobilization. With the help of over 20,000 people, we have provided over 10,000 services to collectors in Brazil and around the world. In addition to programs and actions that renovate and paint carts, trolleys, and collector cooperatives, we work on environmental education and empowering recycling workers through the social technology Cataki, an application that has connected buyers, generators, and waste collectors for 5 years. With the app, we are present in over 1,700 cities, providing work tools so that over 4,000 registered collectors can increase their income, their customer network, and develop their own businesses. We are in all Brazilian states, reaching approximately 235,000 waste generators and connecting them to the people who make recycling happen in practice. Note: Cataki is a free app, but the work of the collectors is not. Negotiate with the professional for the service provided.
