About Pilgrim Lutheran Church and School

Founded by German immigrants in 1912, Pilgrim continues to serve the city of Chicago through their renowned elementary school, whose motto is “Academic Excellence with a Heart”. The school serves Preschool through 8th Grade. Pilgrim also serves the community through a variety of ways, including a free community meal served every Saturday and by leading annual mission trips to Central America. Their worship service reaches people of all ages as they live out their mission to Gather, Prepare, and Send all as leaders to make a difference in the world.
