Protected from time! is the motto of the waterproofing leader, which employs some 230 collaborators in French-speaking Switzerland. Protected from the weather: no errors are permitted when it comes to making a roof perfectly waterproof. Since Philippe Joseph bought Georges Dentan SA in 1971, the company has continued to grow and expand. His sons, Yves and Alain, now directors, took over the reins in 1998, then delegated the general management to Frédéric Aleman in October 2008. We needed new energy in the company, says Alain Joseph, who, as vice-president of FC Lausanne Sport, knows how to give a winning team every chance. After turning around the Chaux-de-Fonds-based Dentan SA, which was in difficulty, in just two years from 1999 onwards, Frédéric Aleman instilled a new corporate culture in the group. Advocating unity in diversity, he initiated the development of the IT process, gave impetus to the creation of the TeamTech structure, encouraged greater visibility of the group while respecting the diversity of the public limited companies that compose it, promoted research and development of new technologies such as solar (photovoltaic), gave everyone the opportunity to get involved and obtain ISO certification, unified the corporate identity, and launched a company newspaper called Tempus.
