Founded in 1916, originally from the Phillip Brothers Inc. group, it became independent from 1947. Throughout its history, Phibro has shown substantial growth both organically and through acquisitions of companies and businesses such as Phibro-Tech, Prince Agri, Koffolk, Baltzell Agri Products, and more recently, Abic Biological Laboratories and AquaVet Ltd. The company's business in Brazil began in 1995 with the acquisition of Planalquímica, a fine chemical industry specializing in the synthesis of Nicarbazin, an important molecule used in broiler farming. In December 2000, we acquired the global businesses of the animal nutrition products division of Pfizer Animal Health, including the factory in Guarulhos-SP, now our main global unit for the production of raw materials and finished products. From July 2003, the group defined its identity as Phibro Animal Health Corporation, to better reflect the company's core business.
