Pete's Frootique

About Pete's Frootique

Pete's Frootique is a locally-loved market with a taste of old charm, founded by Pete Luckett. Our first store opened in 1992 in Bedford as a 1,800 square-foot enterprise that grew to a 20,000 square-foot, retail and wholesale business. In 2004, Pete’s grew to include a second location in Halifax’s thriving downtown core, with 26,000 square feet offering the same quality, value, and experience in an urban setting. Since then, our business has grown into a nationally recognized and awarded company, including: Halifax Chamber of Commerce: Best Business, Lt. Gov. Award: Commitment to Persons with Disabilities in the Workforce, TheCoast.ca: Best Smoothie, Best Sandwich, Best Salad, Best International Grocer. It is the daily contributions made by our fantastic staff that has paved the road to each one of these recognitions. We are extremely proud of our achievements and promise to share in our successes.
