Founded in 1847, the Pestalozzi-Stiftung Hamburg is one of the city's oldest social institutions, continually adapting to changing historical conditions. Today, we are a large, independent provider with diverse responsibilities. Our unchanged mission is to provide help for people. We support individuals of all ages in their pursuit of independence and self-confidence. We operate residential homes for children and adolescents, youth welfare residential support points and centers, and offices for social work and counseling in Hamburg and Norderstedt, serving as regional help and contact points for outpatient youth welfare. Several community-based services and open youth work programs complement our youth welfare sector. In 'Living with Assistance,' people with (primarily intellectual) disabilities live. In Outpatient Social Psychiatry, we run several meeting places for mentally challenged/ill individuals aged 21 and over. Within the scope of childcare, we operate large daycare centers and, at some Hamburg schools, provide all-day care within the framework of GBS or GTS concepts. Additionally, we coordinate over 30 socio-pedagogical communities in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and Bremen. We frequently have open positions for educationally qualified personnel (m/f/i/t) – from socio-pedagogical assistants to social workers. Learn more at www.pestalozzi-hamburg.de
