Perth Bears Rugby League Club

About Perth Bears Rugby League Club

The Perth Bears are the newest expansion club in professional Rugby League, joining the NRL competition in February 2027. Based in Western Australia, the club is being established as a high-performance, values-led sporting organisation with a national footprint and long-term ambition. Built on the proud legacy of the North Sydney Bears and the deep roots of rugby league in Western Australia, the Perth Bears represent both continuity and reinvention. We honour the history that came before us, while creating a modern club designed for the future of elite sport—commercially sustainable, culturally strong, and relentlessly professional in how we operate on and off the field.
