With a foundation in technology and business from DeVry University and further real estate studies at the University of Texas at Arlington and Kaplan University, Johnnie has long applied an engineer’s discipline to business operations. His engineering background taught him that systems and processes aren’t just helpful—they’re essential. From real estate to title services and beyond, he has built businesses where well-structured workflows and process consistency drive performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction. In the three years since founding People’s Title, Johnnie has embedded Service Level Agreements (SLAs) into the core of the company’s operations. To him, SLAs are more than metrics—they’re a commitment to accountability, transparency, and delivering value to clients. These agreements provide a structured, measurable way to ensure that service expectations are consistently met or exceeded, which has played a major role in People’s Title’s rapid rise in a competitive market. Prior to People’s Title, Johnnie earned his reputation through leadership roles at prestigious brokerages such as Coldwell Banker, Fathom, Better Homes and Gardens, and JPAR. In 2016, he founded The Morine Group, REALTORS, under The Morine Group, LLC, a boutique brokerage known for high performance and client care. His business portfolio has since expanded to include Morine Empire Realty & Associates and Sayso Empire, a real estate holding firm.
