Pensplan Centrum S.p.A. is a public company owned 98% by the Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol Region and 2% by the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano, and is subject to their direction and coordination. The institutional objective of Pensplan Centrum is to promote and develop a supplementary pension system in the Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol Region in order to protect citizens from possible future economic fragility. Within the framework of the social project for complementary pension provision, the company provides free administrative and accounting services to citizens residing in the region who are registered with the complementary pension funds established in the region and affiliated with the project. It also supports all interested parties in choosing the most suitable form of complementary pension provision through an efficient information, consulting, and training service via its two offices in Trento and Bolzano and the network of Pensplan Infopoint information desks. The Region supports citizens in establishing a complementary pension also through the provision of specific intervention measures, which include support for supplementary pension contributions for workers in economic difficulty and free legal assistance in cases of employer contribution omissions. In addition to promoting local complementary pension provision, Pensplan Centrum has become a reference point over time for projects dedicated to the protection of individuals and their families throughout their life cycle (e.g., the Housing Project).
