About Peace Hills Insurance

Peace Hills General Insurance Company has been serving Western Canada since 1982. Our head office is located in Edmonton, Alberta, with branch offices in Calgary, Alberta and Vancouver, British Columbia. We currently employ over 200 staff, who work with over 478 independent broker offices across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Yukon Territory. Our organization was founded in a unique situation and we continue to be a one-of-a kind insurance company. We are proudly owned by Samson Cree Nation, who were looking for a new venture in which to invest their oil and gas royalties in the early ‘80’s. It just so happened that an insurance company was available for purchase and the rest is the beginning of our rich history. Our mission statement as a company is to be a unique insurance company that truly cares. We are committed to embodying this statement through every channel of our business, and as such, committed to best serving the communities in which we operate. We feel this is best met by continuing to distribute our product through the Independent Brokerage System. We are also committed to providing exceptional claims service when it is needed. Our Claims Department is dedicated to providing courteous and efficient service for our clients, and to be fair, reasonable and flexible. A Western Canadian company designed for Western Canadians, our competitive products and exceptional service more than match up to our competitors, and we would love to have the chance to show you!
