About Padaria Real

The yeast that makes Padaria Real grow so much comes from the heart of the Souza family, entrepreneurs passionate about gastronomy. The brothers José Vicente de Souza and Carlos Alberto de Souza (in memoriam) opened Padaria Real in 1957, on Penha street, at the corner of Moreira César avenue, when the city had about one hundred thousand inhabitants. Growing with Sorocaba was the dream the brothers nurtured, heirs to the entrepreneurial talent of their parents, Filomena de Souza, known as Dona Nenê, and José de Souza. Already in the early sixties, they revolutionized the bakery market by offering hot bread all the time and no longer just in the morning as was the habit then. Innovations would become a constant: from the "window" opened to serve customers during the night and early morning came the inspiration to build Real Conveniência, in Campolim (1992). Later, the Afonso Vergueiro Avenue branch (1999), where the first restaurant, Real Café & Bistrô, was also born. Padaria Real, by this time, was becoming a bakery industry, with about nine hundred exclusive products in its line, among them, the famous Coxinha de Frango com Catupiry stands out. Come with us!
