As OYAK Mining Metallurgy, we are Turkey's global iron and steel power, together with our employees, customers, suppliers, and shareholders. With approximately 13,000 employees, we are one of Turkey's largest employers. We produce flat steel sheets, billets, and coils in hot and cold rolled, tin, chrome, and zinc coated, meeting international quality standards. Our products provide essential input to sectors such as automotive, white goods, shipbuilding, pipe manufacturing, agricultural and farming equipment, heating industry, electrical-electronic industry, machinery manufacturing industry, general construction, and packaging, leading the development of our country's industry. Our parent company, Ereğli Demir ve Çelik Fabrikaları T.A.Ş., continues to be Turkey's first and largest integrated flat steel producer. Other companies within our group include İsdemir, which produces flat and long steel; Ermaden, which has mining sites in Sivas and Malatya; Erdemir Romania, producing silicon steel in Romania; Erdemir Mühendislik, providing engineering management services to group companies; Erdemir Steel Service Center, meeting the group's cut-to-size flat steel needs; Erdemir Asia Pacific Pte Ltd., carrying out our group's purchasing, marketing, sales, and business development activities in the Asia-Pacific region; and İsdemir Linde Gaz Partnership, established with the goal of meeting İsdemir's additional industrial gas needs and reducing the costs of the existing industrial gas system. Our group, which joined OYAK in 2006, ranks among Turkey's largest industrial organizations in terms of total assets. As OYAK Mining Metallurgy, we also own two of the largest ports in their regions, one operating in Ereğli and the other in İskenderun.
