About Oxford Dynamics

Working at the cutting-edge of Embodied Intelligence - the convergence of AI and robotics – Oxford Dynamics vision is to produce intelligent machines able to sense, learn, and act in complex environments, from hazardous incidents to explosive ordnance disposal, and search and rescue. Along this journey, the OD team is producing discrete agentic, generative AI products such as AVIS, an enterprise-level modular platform able to process complex, sensitive, multi-modal data completely offline using natural language. Founded in 2020 by Shefali Sharma, Dr Edward Jackson and Mike Lawton, Oxford Dynamics brings together a unique blend of hard-won serial tech entrepreneurial expertise, cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence research and commercial robotics. Oxford Dynamics undertakes work for various government entities whilst developing its core intellectual property for commercial exploitation.
