OPEN32 began in the early 1970s as a small boutique in Arnhem and has since grown into an internationally operating fashion organization with about 70 locations. OPEN32 makes shopping a party! Through excellent service, personal attention, and an extensive collection of top brands, the customer gets the optimal shopping experience. The history of OPEN32 dates back to the early seventies: with a surface area of 32m², a boutique was opened in the Presikhaaf shopping center in Arnhem. Rib and jeans fashion was particularly in demand. Within a short time, they moved to the adjacent space to further expand the collection. The enormous expansion of the Boetiek32 stores in 2001 marked the start of a name change. Characteristic of Boetiek32 were openness and accessibility. For these reasons, the choice fell on the new name OPEN. For recognizability and as a reminder of the 32 square meters on which it all began, the full name became: OPEN32. A milestone was the launch of the casual fashion brand Silvercreek in 1995. In the mid-90s, a number of Original Levi’s Stores and FivePocket stores were acquired, which later continued under the name BLUE32.
