About OOWV

A large association with great responsibility. Established during times of supply shortages, we at OOWV have been ensuring safety in water supply and wastewater disposal in northwestern Germany for 75 years. OOWV is a partner to cities and municipalities, and we make an indispensable contribution to the provision of essential public services, i.e., the things in life we cannot do without. Supported by 89 municipal members and a special-purpose association, we carry out this important task to secure the quality of life for people in our region. We secure the future – without the intention of making a profit. All surpluses achieved are invested: in secure water supply and disposal, the development of sustainable water usage methods, and in raising awareness for a responsible approach to our most valuable resource, water.
