About Omroep Gelderland

Omroep Gelderland is there for every Gelderlander. We create stories and connect with our audience. We promote Gelderland's identity by engaging in conversation with our audience, by listening and inspiring. We tell stories from and for Gelderlanders that are relevant, unique, urgent, and distinctive. As a regional broadcaster, we are always close by. We report on emergencies and quickly inform our audience of the latest news. From the River region to the Achterhoek and from the Veluwe to Nijmegen: we are there for every Gelderlander. Omroep Gelderland provides a platform for stories from and about Gelderlanders in a journalistic and interactive way, through any medium. By providing added value in this way to the media offering, Omroep Gelderland aims to fulfill its public watchdog function and be relevant to the inhabitants of the province. This relevance can be measured, among other things, by reach and the extent to which the public debate is shaped. In summary: - We want to be a reliable news channel: fast, complete, and relevant for all our inhabitants; - We want to promote Gelderland's identity and seek connection; - We want to be in conversation with our audience and follow our audience on various platforms.
