About Omrin

Omrin (Fries for circular economy) is a national player with Frisian roots. Omrin is the most circular collector and processor of household and business waste in the Netherlands. At the same time, we are a knowledge partner for municipalities to achieve their VANG goals*. We use one of the lowest processing rates in the Netherlands. And we offer every municipality customized solutions for their specific challenges. The quality of our services is of a very high level. By recovering and recycling as many raw materials as possible from waste. By stimulating a circular economy, an inclusive society, and more biodiversity. But also by inspiring, connecting, and doing.
