Portugal is one of the most important and traditional European markets for Grupo Elecnor. This reality is the result of 25 years of continuous trajectory in the country, which began with the integration of Omninstal Electricidade into its group of companies in 1990. Founded in 1981, Omninstal's corporate purpose was the execution of electrical installations, as well as the manufacture, marketing, import, and export of electrical equipment. Integration into Grupo Elecnor strengthened its technical and organizational capacity, allowing it to access the energy transport network, electrical distribution, and live line work markets, as well as enter other activities such as installations, water, gas, telecommunications, and renewable energies, among others.
