The Environmental Service Southeast Brabant (ODZOB) is an implementing agency for the municipalities of Asten, Bergeijk, Best, Bladel, Cranendonck, Deurne, Eersel, Eindhoven, Geldrop-Mierlo, Gemert-Bakel, Heeze-Leende, Helmond, Laarbeek, Nuenen c.a., Oirschot, Reusel-De Mierden, Someren, Son en Breugel, Valkenswaard, Veldhoven, Waalre and the province of North Brabant. Our contribution focuses mainly on carrying out statutory environmental and building tasks. Examples include: preventing noise and odor nuisance, limiting safety and health risks from companies, tackling soil pollution, and checking swimming water. Permitting, supervision, and enforcement (VTH) are the instruments we use for this.
