Founded in 1976, the Islands Women's Federation is a non-government-subsidized charitable organization composed of women from all walks of life residing and employed in the islands. It serves as a link for women and families in Lantau Island, Peng Chau, Mui Wo, Lamma Island, Cheung Chau, Tai O, and the Central and Western District of Hong Kong Island. The organization is dedicated to providing comprehensive services including family and child care, elderly care, holistic personal growth and employment support, and sustainable development. We keep pace with the times and, in line with social development, while maintaining our original community services, we respond flexibly to various needs. We continuously extend our services to meet the needs of individuals, families, and the community, striving to offer innovative, diverse, and professional services. Under the guidance of a strong advisory board, the executive committee leads the district committees. Using community service points in the Islands District as bases, we are committed to enhancing women's leadership qualities, encouraging them to realize their potential, and motivating their family members to participate in community service, all in an effort to build a harmonious and inclusive community where mutual support thrives.
