OEST LUBRICANTS GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1915 by Johann Georg Oest as "Georg Oest & Cie. Fabrik für technische Öle und Fette" in Freudenstadt. The company headquarters, including administration, research & development with a new laboratory, and production facility, has been located in Freudenstadt in the Black Forest ever since, with a subsidiary in Switzerland. Oest Lubricants is a member of associations such as VSI and UNITI. Furthermore, OEST LUBRICANTS GmbH & Co. KG operates a wholesale business for fuels and heating oils.
