About Obeta - Oskar Böttcher GmbH & Co.KG

Founded in 1901, Oskar Böttcher GmbH & Co. KG is still considered a reliable partner for the electrical trade. With a special focus on customer proximity, the traditional Berlin-based company, with its nearly 1,000 employees, has a nationwide branch network of over 65 locations, which is continuously being expanded. In 1964, OBETA was the first German electrical wholesaler to introduce the branch principle with self-service, significantly simplifying purchasing on-site. Customer needs are met with a total range of over 1,000,000 items, of which more than 35,000 items are always available. With the subsidiary eldis electro distributor GmbH, the company expanded to Hamburg in 2004 and to the Ruhr area in 2005. Eldis stands for electrical technology at a fair price. Anticipating our customers' needs and adapting flexibly to changes - these foundations guide our daily actions. Eldis has now been a key player in Hesse and the Rhine-Main region for several years. The traditional company Heinrich Häusler in Bavaria was welcomed as a new addition to the Obeta Group in 2015. Häusler now has three branches in Munich and one in Ingolstadt.
