Oasen is a social drinking water company. We sustainably provide drinking water for our customers. Public health is paramount. Oasen's starting point is to deliver drinking water to our customers in the best possible way. We strive for the water from the customer's tap to be of perfect, impeccable quality. In addition, we want the customer and Oasen to always receive drinking water from the tap of the same stable and high quality. So we aim for impeccable and surprise-free drinking water and corresponding excellent customer service. Service Area As a social company, Oasen is in public hands. The shareholders of our company are the 21 municipalities in the east of South Holland and the southwest of Utrecht, where we supply drinking water to the inhabitants. Oasen makes drinking water for more than 800,000 people. Every euro that the customer pays us, we reinvest in further improving the drinking water supply. We supply 48 billion liters of drinking water to our customers annually. We use seven purification stations for this. Our office is located in Gouda. Drinking Water Company of the Green Heart Oasen's service area is in a special place in the Netherlands: the Green Heart. This water-rich fen meadow area is characterized by a lot of nature and water. The area is also known for its soft peat soil. This places demands on the pipes that Oasen has in the ground and the water we pump from it. Oasen is a bank filtrate company. We use water that is drawn into the ground via the banks of the Lek river. It is naturally filtered and bacteriologically reliable, but it still needs to be treated before it is suitable as drinking water. We do this at our purification stations.
