About Oak Harbor Public Schools

As the largest school district on an island, Oak Harbor Public Schools is a special place to live and work. Whidbey Island is known for its breathtaking surroundings, incredible outdoor activities, and close community. Oak Harbor is the proud home of Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, the largest naval installation in the Pacific Northwest. Our new strategic plan guides us to support a learning and working environment where our students are valued and understood, take risks in learning and succeed academically, and know that Oak Harbor believes in their future. Oak Harbor Public Schools serves over 5,400 students with one high school, one middle school, one intermediate school, five elementary schools, a homeschool partnership and virtual academy, an early learning center, and transitional and alternative learning programs. We are a levy-supported, community-supported school district. Empowering Students. Growing Together. We are OneOakHarbor
