NCBHS offers both inpatient and outpatient treatment services to children, adolescents adults, and senior adults. The clinicians at our regional Patient Services Center can help by providing a free, confidential mental health assessment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our goal is to help identify the right program or services to best meet a person’s behavioral health treatment needs. Inpatient treatment provides a safe and therapeutic environment for those with acute psychiatric diagnoses needing hospitalization. Our treatment teams provide 24-hour monitoring, treatment and stabilization for patients suffering from: Depression, Recent suicide attempt; suicide ideation or self-harm, Severe Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Psychosis/Schizophrenia, Co-occurring substance use and psychiatric disorders. Our highly structured and comprehensive treatment services include group therapy, medication management and a variety of unit activities such as recreation, socialization and expressive therapies. Treatment focuses on helping patients develop the necessary coping skills to deal with the issues that led to the need for hospitalization. Case management staff provide discharge services and arrange follow-up care in the community, helping patients build the next step in appropriate care and support. An integral part of our continuum of care includes comprehensive outpatient services for those who do not require inpatient hospitalization. Clients can self-refer or be referred by a provider, agency, family or friend. They can also come to one of our programs as the next step on their wellness journey as they discharge from an inpatient setting.
