About Norsk helsenett SF

Safe and efficient information flow in the health sector concerns us all. In the worst case, it's a matter of life. We work to ensure that all healthcare providers and citizens have access to the patient information they need – precisely when it's needed. Our approximately 900 employees contribute to secure and efficient digital collaboration between hospitals, general practitioners, municipalities, and a number of other health actors. In practice, this means we develop, manage, and operate the Health Network – the national electronic infrastructure in the health and care sector and national e-health solutions such as Helsenorge, the patient record, and e-prescription. We also provide services in IT, procurement, and archives for health administration. Norsk helsenett is a state enterprise (SF) established and owned by the Ministry of Health and Care Services. We have our headquarters in Trondheim, with branch offices in Tromsø, Oslo, Bergen, and Svalbard. We work to ensure that all health information is secure and accessible – always.
