About Netze ODR GmbH

Netze ODR is the grid subsidiary of Energie Baden-Württemberg Ostwürttemberg DonauRies AG (EnBW ODR). As the largest distribution network operator in the Ostwürttemberg region and adjacent Bavaria, Netze ODR maintains approximately 13,313 kilometers of medium and low-voltage grids as well as around 2,338 kilometers of gas distribution grids; it safely supplies more than 242,000 people daily with electricity and gas. The municipal grid operator is also driving the energy transition in the region: 42,818 facilities in the grid area generate electricity from renewable energies. In 2023, its share in the Netze ODR grid was over 74 percent. This means the climate protection goal for 2030 has already been surpassed.
