About Netto Polska, Salling Group

We are a retail chain with Danish roots that, over its 28 years of presence in Poland, has achieved the third position among food discounters in the domestic market. This is the result of, among other things, the conversion of Tesco stores, which we began in May 2021 and completed in March 2022. Our chain is known primarily in the northern and western parts of the country, as well as in the south. We are consistently building our presence in central-eastern Poland. Our first discount store in Poland opened in 1995 in Szczecin. Currently (as of early 2023), Netto operates over 660 stores across the country and has 5 distribution centers (Motaniec, Domasław, Kopytkowo, Teresin, and Gliwice). We employ over 9,000 people. As a food discounter, we enable customers to shop comfortably in a neighborhood atmosphere and at favorable everyday prices. In our stores, customers can find a wide selection of approximately 3,500 products, including private labels (such as Sztuka Mięsa, Premieur, Miletto), as well as non-food items. The modern Discount 3.0 format offers a range of thoughtful solutions that make shopping at Netto convenient and enjoyable. Our stores feature self-checkout tills, a wide assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables, and bread baked on-site.
