C.S.A. was founded in 1990 as a software development and consulting company. It initially collaborated on various projects with the University of Parma, providing services to the Euratom Center in Ispra. The company later specialized in healthcare projects, covering both clinical and management aspects, and collaborated with several healthcare scientific societies including SIAARTI, ESRA, and SINPE. Since 2000, it began redesigning all its applications for a web-based environment, with a preference for open-source solutions. In 2005, CSAmed srl was established to manage commercial activities and client relations, gradually taking over from C.S.A., which ceased operations in 2008. CSAmed offers consulting services and application solutions for both the healthcare sector and public administration in general. Our solutions are implemented in over forty healthcare facilities across Italy. Through close collaboration with its clients, CSAmed has developed significant projects, including www.albofornitori.it, a portal for managing public administration supplier directories and online procurement, which has handled over €2 billion in transactions, accredited 8,000 suppliers, and conducted over 3,500 tenders. Another project is SISR (Information System for Catering Service Management), designed for hospital collective catering, featuring automated and manual meal ordering and production procedures.
