NBT Financial Bank is an independent, locally owned community bank founded in Fort Worth in 1973 that has never been bought or sold. In a market of mergers and out of state call centers, more than fifty years under the same ownership, in the same place, is rare. We started on the Northside of Fort Worth and were built to bank the people making something of their own: the machine shops on the Northside behind the F-16 then, the business owners and middle-market companies now.
