NATURE ET DÉCOUVERTES

About NATURE ET DÉCOUVERTES

Offering the best of the world for a better world A committed company Created in 1990 by François and Françoise Lemarchand, presided over since 2021 by Frédérique Giavarini, Nature & Découvertes demonstrates that it is possible to do business while respecting people and nature. Its unique concept invites reconnection with nature and nurturing that bond through its product universes - travel, lifestyle, natural well-being, science, games and toys, flavors…-, its in-store workshops and its nature outings. In 2021, the company has 95 stores located in France and abroad - Switzerland, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Created in 1994, its Foundation works for biodiversity and nature education. 2,600 preservation and awareness projects have seen the light of day over the past 25 years. The Foundation is financed by 10% of the company's net profits, as well as one euro for each customer membership in the Nature & Découvertes Club. Since 2015, Nature & Découvertes has been B Corp certified. Sustainable jobs 79% of our 1100 employees are on permanent contracts. We also aim for fair pay (bonuses and a 13th month for everyone). We have chosen to prioritize training (4.4% of the payroll is invested in it), recognition of skills, and career progression within the company so that everyone can thrive. Thus, 68% of our store managers come from internal promotion. Passionate employees For us, passion is a powerful driver, which allows us to move forward, grow, and be amazed. That's why, more than a diploma, we recruit personalities and potential. What we primarily look for? Curiosity, the desire to commit to the world and to people, the drive to do and share… During recruitment, we therefore take a real interest in the convictions, experiences, and aspirations of our candidates.
