About Municipal Group of Companies

The Municipal Group of Companies is comprised of numerous complementary business units. As an organization, we have been operating for more than 50 years, and our presence now extends through Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Quebec, and the Caribbean. Best known by our Dexter Construction brand — and our proven expertise in heavy civil construction — we have also become recognized leaders in waste management, logistics, and mining support services. In short, we are experts in infrastructure, a vertically integrated company with increasing capabilities backed by teams of professionals in their respective fields. We are the Municipal Group of Companies.
