About Multikulturelles Forum e.V.

Migrant organization, educational institution, counseling center, specialized institution – the Multikulturelles Forum e.V. has many faces. With a focus on further education, counseling, labor market integration, political education, and prevention work, we advocate for the recognition of cultural diversity as a societal norm and strength, as well as for the participation and equal opportunities of all, in six NRW cities (Lünen, Bergkamen, Hamm, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, and Cologne). We work with people for people: whether in counseling, prevention work, vocational integration, or further education – meaningful work is guaranteed with us. We also want to be a "forum" in our role as an employer: every member of our team is invited to help shape the implementation of our strategic goals. Our departmental and site meetings invite participation, and we network as a whole team at retreats and company meetings. We meet for company outings and celebrations for exchanges beyond work topics. We enable individual career and life paths: from internships to apprenticeships to dual study programs, we offer entry into various professions. We promote internal networking and allow team members to gain insights into other areas of work. We support the compatibility of family and work or lifelong learning, for example, in the form of a part-time degree, through flexible working hours. We welcome new team members: our team cohesion is our strength. Working together towards goals, collegial support, and the fun of being together characterize the good working atmosphere in our multicultural and interdisciplinary team.
