About Motorstyrelsen

Motorstyrelsen's task is to ensure that all motor vehicles are registered correctly, and that valuation and tax calculation are carried out on a uniform and transparent basis. Our work contributes to a smooth and well-functioning car market in Denmark for the benefit of both dealers and car owners. We continuously take developments in the motor sector into account, so our decisions are correct and uniform regardless of vehicle type, ownership, and leasing arrangements.
