Morrow Home Community serves as a tangible expression of God’s love through a continuum of services to all who entrust us with their care. We strive to enhance quality of life by preserving the dignity, independence, and uniqueness of each individual while meeting their physical, social, and spiritual needs. We endeavor to be a faithful steward of obtainable resources recognizing both the needs of those we serve and those who serve. Morrow Memorial Home for the Aged was founded in 1917 by Miss Mary Morrow in memory of her parents. From its beginning as a two-story wood-frame structure housing eight people, Morrow Home Community has grown to now serve daily over 250 people. The Meissner Rehabilitation Unit offers eleven large private rooms with many amenities to make short-term rehabilitation as comfortable as possible. The new CreekSide Apartments, opened in 2021, offers affordable assisted living care. Parkview Apartments provides independence with services including noon meal, light housekeeping emergency pendant services, and activities. MaryCrest, our registered assisted living apartments offers assisted-living services in 24 one and two bedroom apartments. BridgePath, a twenty-eight suite ministry offers advanced assisted living and dementia care. Morrow Home Community also provides weekday noon meals to seniors in their own homes. Mary Morrow’s Attic, a thrift store staffed by volunteers, operates in downtown Sparta and donates their profits to the Morrow Home Community for resident-related non-budgeted items. They also donate items to needy families and individuals. Morrow Home Community is a not-for-profit Christian corporation affiliated with The United Methodist Church.
