About Montgomery County Government

Montgomery County, Tennessee is one of the fastest-growing counties in the nation with the youngest median age of all Tennessee counties. We are located 30 miles northwest of Nashville on the Kentucky border and less than a day's drive from most major U.S. cities. Montgomery County offers a variety of cultural, educational, employment, and business opportunities. Our county has an impressive blend of residential, commercial, and corporate citizens. We are the proud home of Fort Campbell, home to the 101st Airborne Division, 5th Special Forces Group, 160th Special Operations Aviation Unit, Austin Peay State University, Bridgestone Metalpha USA, Google Data Center, LG Electronics, Hankook Tire, and other large industries. There are many small and unique businesses throughout the County and more than 30 parks to visit.
