Mobile Phone Comunicaciones, an official Movistar distributor, began its activity in 1991, being a pioneer company in mobile telephony commercialization in Spain, as it was the first exclusively mobile telephony store in Madrid. In 1997, its growth began with one more point of sale. In 2000, it had 11 stores, expanding its area of influence towards Castilla La Mancha and Galicia. In 2006, it acquired another telephony distributor with 17 points of sale, bringing Mobile Phone Comunicaciones to 37 stores and presence in Alicante, Andalusia, Catalonia, Castilla La Mancha, Galicia, Madrid, and Valladolid. In 2007, it became a national account for Telefónica Móviles and is currently among the 5 most important Movistar distributors nationwide. We currently have a Commercial Department with 50 commercial managers, focused on direct sales to companies, and a total of 76 Points of Sale spread across Madrid, Castilla La Mancha, Barcelona, Galicia, Alicante, and Valencia.
