MiraVista Diagnostics is a full-service CAP and CLIA certified reference laboratory with a focus on developing and processing diagnostic tests for invasive fungal infections. Our research team works alongside our clinical and production laboratory teams to help diversify our testing options for patients. The renowned Infectious Disease scientist, Dr. Lawrence Joseph Wheat, whose groundbreaking research contributions resulted in the development of the first Histoplasma antigen test, founded MiraVista Diagnostics in 2002. We now serve medical and veterinary sectors worldwide offering antigen and antibody detection for Coccidioides (Valley Fever), Aspergillus, Histoplasma capsulatum, Blastomyces dermatitidis, Beta-D Glucan, Cryptococcus, and a Pneumocystis DNA PCR.
