About Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund

Migros is different from other companies. It is more diverse, organized differently, and, by tradition, is committed beyond the purely business scope. With its well over 2 million cooperative members and the ten regional cooperatives, it is at home all over Switzerland and, as the largest employer and one of the largest investors, it is committed to this country like hardly any other company. MGB -- Migros Cooperative Federation The MGB coordinates the activities of the Migros community and defines Migros' strategy. It also acts as a service provider for Migros. It is responsible for meeting the needs of the affiliated cooperatives through joint purchasing and production, as well as the establishment or acquisition of shareholdings and subsidiaries of all kinds.
