About metaX Institut für Diätetik GmbH

Production in Germany – Sales worldwide Founded in 1999, metaX is an independent German family company with two locations: in Friedberg (Hesse) and in Burgheim (Bavaria). We collaborate with renowned university and specialized clinics, research laboratories, and competent business partners, both domestically and internationally. The company name is derived from the Greek word for metabolism: metabolismos (μεταβολισμος). The X summarizes the English expression 'with the eXception of'. The meaning of this wordplay becomes clear against the background of one of our specialties: our XPhe products, which are amino acid mixtures for patients with the inherited metabolic disorder phenylketonuria (PKU). The XPhe amino acid mixtures contain all amino acids – with the eXception ('X') of the amino acid phenylalanine! Certified Quality We are a certified company according to HACCP and ISO 9001:2015. State-controlled production facilities, many years of professional experience of our employees, and sound expertise, along with the highest quality standards, enable excellent product quality. Our products are analyzed and monitored by accredited laboratories – uncompromisingly in the service of our customers! Committed to the well-being and health of people The little man recognized in the letter 'X' of our company logo symbolizes that we work for the well-being and health of people. The personal exchange with the people for whom we develop our products is very important to us. We look forward to connecting with you – at one of our baking and cooking classes, lectures, symposia, or leisure events.
