Mestemacher - the lifestyle-bakery. Baking competence since 1871 with innovative strength into the future. Founded as a city bakery in Gütersloh, Mestemacher already developed into a specialized pumpernickel bakery in 1910 – and has since grown into an internationally active large bakery with its own mill and export to over 80 countries worldwide. We produce pasteurized whole grain and specialty breads with long, natural enjoyment freshness in unopened condition. The rye used for this is freshly ground in our own mill – also from controlled organic cultivation. Mestemacher is an organic pioneer: since 1985 we have been promoting organic farming – as the first manufacturer of packaged whole grain breads with organic rye.
