About Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş.

Our story began in the 1960s when the foundations of the automotive industry were laid in Turkey. As a result of the efforts of a passionate team, we brought global experience to Turkey in 1967 with 36% partnership from Daimler-Benz AG under the name Otomarsan. With our Istanbul Bus and Aksaray Truck Factories, we transformed this experience into a success story exported from Turkey to the world. Until 2020, we carried out the import and sales of Mercedes-Benz brand light commercial vehicles and all car brands under the Daimler AG umbrella. With the new restructuring process initiated by our parent company Daimler AG worldwide as of January 1, 2020, we continued our activities under the legal entity "Daimler Truck AG", which is legally independent under Daimler AG, responsible for the Truck and Bus divisions. As of 01.12.2021, we continue our activities under the legally fully independent "Daimler Truck AG" company, responsible for the Truck and Bus divisions. Today, with an investment volume exceeding 1 billion euros, we are one of Turkey's largest foreign capital investments, continuing our passionate story with over 6,400 employees. We produce intercity and city buses at our Istanbul Hoşdere Factory, and heavy-class trucks and tractors at our Aksaray Factory. We form important parts of our parent company Daimler Truck AG's development and production network with our Aksaray and Hoşdere R&D Centers, where we export engineering to the whole world. We are working for a cleaner, safer, more efficient, and difference-making future. We listen to each other, develop and produce solutions together. We lead with a broad perspective and move forward together.
