Mercato Centrale

About Mercato Centrale

THE BEAUTY OF GOODNESS Mercato Centrale is an idea that becomes a place, a point of reference for those who love, live, and choose food. A new way of talking about food, which brings the artisans of taste and their know-how back to the center. A new language that makes simplicity its strong point, because goodness is elementary. THE CITY AT HEART Mercato Centrale has always aimed to forge strong and lasting bonds with the cities in which it is located. This is because the territory, with its dense network of existing realities, is an important, attentive, active interlocutor. And the bond that the Market has managed to build is tangible, appreciated, recognized, and also and above all passes through important gestures. The places chosen for the openings of Mercato Centrale – crucial points of the urban fabric and environments often no longer lived in – are in fact recovered, brought back to life, and returned to the city, which can once again live in and fully enjoy them. AN OPEN SQUARE At Mercato Centrale, culture is nourishment and food nourishes culture. This is how prestigious events are born, organized and desired in synergy with city and national institutions that are protagonists of art, music, science, and culture. It is also in this way that the Market builds its unique identity as a destination that is chosen and discovered, with important valuable content. A place where participation is total, where there is always something to observe, discover, experiment, learn, and deepen. This is because Mercato Centrale is never just a simple container, but becomes a promoter and supporter of collaborations and special operations of great impact, resonance, and visibility. Events that make a constant contribution to the cultural life of the city and that affirm with ever greater force that – today more than ever – food is culture.
