Melleruds Kommun

About Melleruds Kommun

Mellerud is a municipality with strong faith in the future, located in Västra Götaland on the western shore of Lake Vänern. Approximately 9,200 residents live here, and we have about 1,000 dedicated employees who contribute to developing the municipality every day. With proximity to both Gothenburg and Karlstad, which can be reached in an hour by train, we have a strategic location that opens up for growth and opportunities. We prioritize a strong business climate, sustainable development, and a secure everyday life for all residents. Here, we create together a municipality to be proud of.
