Megadrive – Buchbinder

About Megadrive – Buchbinder

Kinsen is pleased to announce that, following an agreement with Europcar Mobility Group, it has taken over all operational activities of Megadrive car rental in Austria and Hungary. With this acquisition, Kinsen aims to establish itself as a significant player in the European mobility market and forge its own path to success. The Megadrive car rental GmbH is an Austrian car rental company based in Vienna, operating as a regional brand of Europcar Mobility Group, employing a total of 71 people. The company operates seven stations throughout Austria – including at the most important airports (Vienna, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Graz, Linz) as well as at central urban locations – and has a fleet of around 900 vehicles, ranging from economy vehicles to premium categories and vans. As part of this new chapter, Megadrive car rental will continue its business operations seamlessly. Specifically, Megadrive will continue to operate in the market under the Buchbinder brand. Kinsen Hellas's clear goal is to further strengthen its position in the coming years and continuously expand its growth. In this strategic context, Kinsen Hellas plans to leverage Megadrive's local expertise to introduce the Goldcar brand in Austria and Hungary in the near future.
