A sustainable and beautiful living environment. We all want that. The national government is also steering in this direction with the goal that the Netherlands will be fully circular in 2050. Meerlanden is actively taking the lead in this in the region. We are a social and innovative company that collects, processes, reuses, and recycles products, waste, and raw materials in an inclusive and progressive manner (Re-use, Re-pair, Re-cycle). We also supply energy and heat, and are continuously committed to a clean, whole, and safe public space. In this way, Meerlanden contributes to a beautiful and circular living environment in this region, today and tomorrow. Think global, act local. This is how we do it: - with approximately 500 employees, of whom approximately 150 have a distance to the labor market, - as a partner of 8 municipalities and 3500 companies in the region Haarlemmermeer-Amstelland, Kennemerland and Duin- en Bollenstreek in the area of: - waste collection and processing, management and maintenance of public space, street cleaning, winter maintenance, green maintenance, market management and sewerage work; - and by continuously initiating new, promising initiatives as a knowledge partner in the field of circular economy.
