The Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn is part of the BVZ railway group. With around 650 employees, BVZ provides transport and tourism services in the cantons of Valais, Uri, and Grisons. The core business consists of the regional transport of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn between Disentis and Zermatt, as well as the experience journeys around the top brands Gornergrat and Glacier Express. This is supplemented by the Täsch–Zermatt shuttle service, car transport at the Furka and Oberalp passes, freight transport, the real estate division, and holdings in the Matterhorn Terminal Täsch and Zermatt Bergbahnen.
