About Markaryds Kommun

Markaryd Municipality, with its 10,000 inhabitants, welcomes you to a workplace where employees, politicians, and operations are always close at hand. Markaryd, located in Southern Småland along the pulse of the E4 and with a train connection to the continent, has had Sweden's best business climate (Svenskt Näringsliv) – two years in a row! This is thanks to the stable bridges between the municipality and its entrepreneurs. Markaryd may be a geographically small place to the eye, but our great enterprise and entrepreneurial spirit flourish. In Markaryd Municipality, we work with a clear citizen perspective, and our mission is to provide security, well-being, and accessibility to the municipality's residents and to do so with high quality. Approximately 1000 people work in our operations across 70 professional groups who make a difference. Do you want to be a part of it?
