About Makita Manufacturing Europe Ltd

Makita Manufacturing Europe (MME) is a member of the Makita Group which has a great tradition of engineering innovation and prides itself on having the best people across the world to deliver a first-class service to our customers. The Makita workforce is the key element that enables a British manufacturing plant to compete in world terms where unit production costs must enable sales to be achieved in every market in the world. At the heart of our manufacturing process is the belief that for a good tool you need a good motor, and Makita makes every effort to make sure our motors are of the best quality. We source the absolute best raw materials and components in order to build the most powerful and efficient motors we can imagine. Premium grade steel is used to produce armature shafts and gears, and only steel of the highest grade is used, whilst high grade magnetic copper wire goes into each and every one of our tools to ensure superior current flow whilst withstanding extreme temperatures. Although known internationally for quality and innovation within the power-tool industry we also have a long and illustrious history running through the outdoor power market. Makita understands that when it comes to working outdoors in the unpredictable British weather, our tried and tested machines make outdoor projects even easier and achieve top results quickly and efficiently. We have therefore expanded our outdoor power equipment range with a selection of new machines – including Brushless Hedge Trimmers, Brushless Lawnmower, Wheelbarrows and Cooler/warmer boxes. These have all been carefully selected for the demanding needs of professional users. Our high standards go a long way, which is probably why when you buy Makita, it's likely to be a lasting relationship.
